' m2 p3 x5 n+ K9 g: _8 j' kOn March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor5 T* S8 U1 I$ M l9 R
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.

The increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are) O. R* @; H/ S% x+ |9 {
products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’, S6 v% o% v6 N3 \" B* o& g
gates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
' V8 [; @# I# v) Llitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature
5 c5 p4 K# c' r# J' e' Sof Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that

' L; y# r, R {$ A- mSome of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:
