请问父母探亲的医疗保险能否报税

看到华人报纸上说父母超级签证探亲时买的医疗保险可以报税。在网上查了一些相关资料，有人说可以报，有人说不可以报。不知道哪位大神有成功的经验，给介绍一下。不想因为为了多返一点税，而被税务局列入黑名单，年年查税。非常感谢。

我自己试着用UFile在网上报，把父母两个人作为自己的Dependant，由于父母均超过65周岁，软件自动给了一项 315 Caregiver amount, 共9060刀。另外医疗保险金额经过计算后计入331 Allowable amount of medical expenses for other dependants. 不知道这样是否可行。还有他们2014年在加拿大居住超过半年，应该把他们算作Non-Resident 还是 Deemed Resident. 谢谢。

Caregiver is for resident not for visitor.

Cargiver Amount 是我把父母加为Dependant后软件自动给我的，不是我自己申报的。这也是我质疑的一点。

父母探亲可以带来税上的优惠。对于符合条件的人，父母来探亲可以带来上千元税的节省。你购买临时医疗保险所付的保费可做为Medical expenses 申报在子女的税务里。另外，在一年内，如果父母停留时间超过183天，子女在报税时可将父母做为DEPENDENT，从而可以抵免 $4223/人的税（Caregiver amount)。申报时，最好保留父母探亲的visa及护照的付印本，为将来税务局审核时可提供依据。请来电查询：416-709-9079 or 1-866-920-2821。

Tax credit may be available if parent or grandparent (over 65) lives with you, even if they are not your dependent.

"331 Allowable amount of medical expenses for other dependants" 政府网站上说要父母亲在去年任何时间都是加国居民才能把填到331里，所以必须父母在这里呆上一整年的才能报.

Claim, on line 331, the part of eligible medical expenses you or your spouse or common-law partner paid for the following persons who depended on you for support:
•your or your spouse's or common-law partner's child who was born in 1996 or earlier, or grandchild; or
•your or your spouse's or common-law partner's parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, or nephews who were residents of Canada at any time in the year.

The expenses must meet all the criteria explained at line 330. The claim must be for the same 12-month period that was determined for line 330.
