不管你走到哪里，都是令人难以置信的繁忙景象。我们的经济在爆炸式的增长，人们竭尽全力追赶着。而且问一些很难回答的问题：步伐是不是太快了点？怎样才能尽快把基础设施建好来支持今天已有的繁荣？明天将是什么样子？怎样才能解决人手不足的问题。

不管怎么说，我们是经过了巨大的努力，走过了长期的道路才达到了这一步的，大家都希望今天的繁荣能够持久下去。

人们所说的是：我们需要一个计划We need a plan

我要领导一个进步保守党的团队，它能保持住 Alberta 经济的高速增长，它能预见未来，想在前面，能管理好膨胀的经济对人们的影响，对家庭和社区的影响，对环境的影响，对价值观，和对生活质量的影响。是所有的这一切把我们定义成为阿尔伯塔人的。

我的三点计划的主题就是要实现这些目标。为 Alberta设置高标准，让今天的繁荣变成财富，建设一个我们都想要的Alberta省.

Preparation. Innovation. Conservation.

准备是要保证Alberta的儿童，青少年，和家庭为未来做好充分的准备。准备也意味着清理财务，保证我们的PC 党积极地参与为Alberta省制定方向。

创新是要把阿尔伯塔人的 can-do 企业家精神，和作新发现，在 Alberta 建立新工业的机会结合起来。也包括提高公共医疗系统的效率，保证城镇能为人们提供所需要的服务和设施。

保存是负责管理好我们的环境。保护Alberta 的土地，空气，和水。保护 Alberta 郊区的未来。保护社区的安全，支持警察反对犯罪。同时也要保存和提倡文化艺术。

Join me in building Alberta on purpose. Not by accident or by drift. But Alberta on purpose.

To be eligible to vote in the PC party election, you must be
1) A Canadian citizen.
2) 16 year of age or older.
3) A resident of Alberta for at least 6 months.

When to vote?

The first ballot: Saturday, November 25, 2006.

If no candidate receives more than 50% of votes in the first ballot, the top three candidates will be eligible to remain for

The second ballot: Saturday, December 2, 2006.

You must travel to a polling station twice, on November 25, and December 2.

Where to vote?

The voting places, or polling stations, is located in each constituency on election days.

Your constituency is printed on you PC membership card. To find out the polling station in your constituency, click the link:

http://www.albertapc.ab.ca/public/custom/stations/

From the pull down menu button, choose your constituency, e.g., Edmonton Meadowlark, then click ok.

It will show you the exact address of the polling station in the constituency.

I was born in Edmonton and lived there for most of my adult life, raising my children in the Capital city. I grew up in Calgary. My wife and her family have welcomed me into their farming family. And I’ve traveled to every corner of Alberta, meeting with people and growing more and more awed by the people and place we call home. I love this province – all of it.

Join me in building Alberta on purpose. Not by accident or by drift.

That’s the Alberta we’re ready for.
