hehe.. anyway, no matter it looks "破" or not, I was told by a doctor that Royal Alex Hospital is the best one to deal with all kinds of conditions that might be happening during/before birth. The other hospitals only deal with normal birth, if there's anything wrong, the patients will be sent to Royal Alex. I ever met a lady who was sent there by Helicopter from outside of Edmonton, because of lots of unexpected bleeding at her 31 weeks' pregnancy.

: c% N' z) y- Y3 ?$ uMy kid was born at the Royal Alex Hospital, and we stayed for about 23 hours there. I asked for a single room for one night, the room is good actually, but kind of small. It includs one bathroom, one bed, one sofa chair and some cabinets.2 O7 c- |2 ?+ f# d( b7 v

Since the expense of hospital care is very high, usually they'll let you go home within 24 hours as long as baby and mom is both doing good(自然产), or otherwise you'll need to stay for at least one day until everything is fine. If it's a C-section, you'll stay for a few days. |
