Uppal also defends bill C-24, legislation that allows the government to strip citizenship from dual citizens convicted of terrorism or treason. He said when someone has been convicted and served their time of a charge as serious as terrorism it’s common sense to deport them.0 T6 |7 p" v- u B
“If we can have their citizenship stripped, because they’re a dual citizen, than I would rather not have them in this country,” he said.

Sohi said he would prefer convicted terrorist stay within the reach of Canadian law.
