We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.0 }2 O: Q [+ F

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
% X4 e. c4 B% K" [2 q) N) h• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.4 n1 |2 h8 i! ~7 h: k
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible, z% H5 Y! s& I, E
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required." @7 F1 f7 j+ F! Z- S( o

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
/ C* C& ?/ z- @6 X, a5 P" K* ^• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study( m3 I5 ], S! T1 a4 E x& {6 h" R( f
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
1 k% e1 x2 {2 J' y* R4 S• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers" l5 c9 a A8 M' {' V9 p! F& L
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)8 C o- y- Y+ Z0 ~) {7 G
