We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:- }. q5 D. o7 E

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.9 k/ l0 k1 a! d
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.4 p2 o+ P S0 \; c
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
6 V: z. v" K) I- W) q5 v' D! e• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

1 x% p0 J/ R3 @* u6 G• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
, \- t. r2 {. ?2 p• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
) c- ~( q7 H+ L0 x& d• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills6 T+ ?* r* _% G9 f) T
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers; ?* Y9 n; d) V& s' G2 u
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
