4 D- q& {# Y# m8 B6 {-International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test of English language proficiency.

% M& D+ A& L1 ^9 L-IELTS is recognized by universities and employers and also by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies. Over 1.4 million people a year take the test.

5 W8 M9 O# j) V, ]-You can choose between the Academic or General Training versions of the test. All candidates do the same Listening and Speaking sections.

The test contains four sections:

" e$ s9 d# q) \# x) T7 a" w-In caregiver program is designed to provide students, with a unique opportunity to study, work and then immigrate to Canada.

2 L; m% |6 o+ v3 L- x" _-The training provided here prepares students to work with a Canadian family, either as caring for children or as a Caregiver to a dependent elderly or disabled person.

8 G+ u" q! B( w9 }2 B( Y5 x-We offer basic literacy to adults who want to upgrade their reading, numerical and writing skills. Student will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skill. Emphasis is on listening, understanding and verbal skills.

-We have free placement testing is available and your program will be tailored to meet your specific need and level.
-Graduates of the ESL program move into the workforce or on to postsecondary training.

- ]& l7 ~4 b$ Y# c: P' _8 a/ t$ ]-Workers gain their skills, knowledge and experience in different ways. If you have work experience and training in a skilled trade or occupation from another province, territory, country or regulatory authority, you may need to have your credentials recognized in order to work in Alberta.
% ]8 S& L( M; h; S. _
; h. u: l; f( Q: x- f4 @: n' ?-Alberta recognizes some trade certificates from other provinces or territories, the Department of National Defense Canada and credential issuing authorities from outside of Canada. Workers who hold a recognized trade certificate do not require an Alberta Qualification Certificate to work in the province.
