• Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the end result will be a new resident.; e8 k& ?1 r* q" v

. p7 n9 e' l n- {• Answer phone calls, and respond to email and walk-in rental enquiries.
+ b3 b* n8 H: @, w• Process applications for prospective residents – ensure credit information, landlord and employer references are correct and complete.4 s( K5 t( G% v4 V# y5 o
• Schedule and complete suite/house showings with prospective residents.
3 }; o# A6 d% b/ N% P+ v" _7 ^• Enter and set-up guests and new residents in a database.5 t* i6 G& a' b6 w! X* f
• Prepare move-in files and ensure all appropriate documents, cards and keys are enclosed./ R. A. O' g3 y5 X% ]" O$ Y$ B
• Schedule and complete move-in and move-out inspections with residents.

) J/ m9 n, D |# C- v u• Assist the Property Manager in administrative tasks as required (security deposits, leases).- w* _. P4 M2 O
• Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act in all procedures.
# p/ n! I% n# `' ]9 i3 ^• Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation./ R7 @" {" d, {9 `9 U! c9 R
• Ensure local, provincial and federal laws and regulations are being observed within the community.9 ?8 | r6 k+ V* B3 y$ k

Required Skills & Abilities:2 h9 E$ z4 [/ C9 o& n1 u, Y" h
• High school graduate; Post-secondary education is an asset
& V1 V6 t, P5 p8 h6 }• Two years relevant experience in sales, leasing and/or customer service is preferred2 p1 M, k4 @! D, _/ j2 P% n$ S
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
% r. C# v' y c0 Y W q* G; Y• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
; l$ g5 c& p5 H4 K3 s) f0 R• Exceptional communication ability, both written and verbal/ g6 O, S& N; S5 k( C# C
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
; i$ g5 [ w N% t• Proven customer service and resident relation skills
