Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
+ k! G7 m! d$ o0 C7 M, ?Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
) y8 k% ~' o0 H" e3 DEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
* S- ^% @2 t* l3 g  ]Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
: w' j! W. U; q( ?; w, Q$ P8 rArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
3 [, a; f! B0 V2 E- {8 B4 E( VRecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
# [" {" w! Y; l( t4 \; VGive prepared plates the “final touch”
$ A6 s* F7 i! jPerform administrative duties
6 L0 o6 T- u! m0 O% \4 ]Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

$ w) A  T; c, C! f/ q& @Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
