Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
0 @! C: I2 \4 {7 y9 k; y) ASupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
( b  @) o! G% VRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”

  `: }1 h1 y. `' y" S' oComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management

9 h& M( Q1 R1 ZCapable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
) G1 s; [7 I5 D1 ?# QWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
( [- D3 R1 J8 w) @BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
