I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
"I am going to send it back".
! h+ U& [; P  |I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
) b4 y" P; r, V. F% I "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
6 i& A4 a. l. kHe said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
8 G+ y; _; }% d1 h; |"Yes, I did."
Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
$ H+ x7 V' H6 `+ B9 o5 M7 x, f3 qHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
- I2 k! S$ @# |) q2 x( T"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
% k* M# \! P4 p. D; q/ ^8 ^"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
8 H+ N$ K% h! U4 Y0 Y" SHe took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
! S8 ~) q3 P2 C8 D) U3 d) Z  e- w"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
"I do not have an address."
I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
