I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
"I am going to send it back".
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
  m, E" g% F; ?7 e) V$ S+ Y "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
7 j# c- f2 p" m1 }5 v$ YHe said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
"Yes, I did."
6 H3 q9 f! Z9 O1 O( n6 m+ oFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
6 u; ?  _" f) y7 cHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
/ S' \! Q$ J( O1 g, `4 k* K"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
1 a% ]& ?- j% p7 w& N"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
  d! H4 ^5 S9 O+ AHe took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
; Z4 f& b& z9 _* w% Q) ^I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
0 J* |/ Y  f4 P, A3 M6 q8 ["Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
" Q2 T4 t8 f$ r: q& V8 o9 ["Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
"I do not have an address."
I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
: o# T6 p" ^* |# z5 G7 ZHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
