Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me: 7 U" M0 h% H2 x9 A2 @
"I am going to send it back".
2 Z9 k/ D( z; G! TI did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
) A( @/ w! _- y7 y$ s "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
. t4 S9 H! | D0 O' p; \He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
6 J+ Z3 j! {% N/ o' @/ X"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"

Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post. 0 s1 p+ h) h* F1 L; z
He took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.

"No, I am not. I do not do those things."' j( x: Y/ M/ K
He took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside. $ }2 L# A! R6 _0 {4 W
I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:

2 d& I& ~5 Z4 f: b- d$ U"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:9 I" \* Q7 h# `; u
"I do not have an address."; k2 C" ]. D. h# z% u/ ~
I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"* b- ?% ]3 B9 O0 i* u3 C
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."8 ~1 [8 o4 O) q7 V$ }) j
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
1 q' s8 p: a' iHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity. 9 y. ?. l, H$ m: m& u" m$ t+ _
