Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
* ?& @2 ]7 p; Y- e- Supervise kitchen staff
) Q7 E5 ]: U  H) ~- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
" X8 O4 B( @) e5 c- Z4 r9 f1 z, }- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
9 `! }) k9 y' H+ K- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
& p9 E# V8 m' o  W& k6 y# c- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
- w' V! Y3 D) Z# sThis is a contract, full-time position.
6 ?' i4 e8 Q% [' UWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
