Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
4 A. q/ Y7 g$ k3 L0 S6 R: }- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
8 l# }: U/ M. P/ w6 ?! O- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
' K, w! R: ~9 C( n# G: Z- K- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- T( z6 }, f1 n8 t0 b4 s3 a7 D8 M# [- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
8 J! i% K$ O; x/ Q7 F9 g$ g: `, h- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
