Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

& Y! S5 [4 ~2 ~+ M; p* y- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
/ q. W% j) p5 ]: W( q: c- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
8 p7 `5 ^% s0 a' H; M8 K- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
7 ^9 p1 q6 ?$ W* V8 S; P0 d5 W- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

9 y. w8 o6 M& x; H( F- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
1 s9 L+ T! D4 U- l- T% S- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
# @# p" \- P! n+ X8 l% y- Good proficiency in English.
( k" Z2 `2 n% e( W/ S* N. z- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
) ?' ^$ ?, D+ D' ~  aWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
# h; V0 _$ e7 s* VWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
