卡尔加里警察已经就在市区西北部的人行道上撞死小女孩的18岁卡尔加里女青年提出控告.
Doug Mcilwraith警官周二说, Angela Ta已经被指控在超过一辆在人行道停下等待行人的摩托车时, 没有在人行道上让行以及疏忽驾驶.

McIlwraith说这项指控可能意味着其驾照的暂停使用, 2000加元的罚款, 以及6个月的监禁.
6岁的Jenna Change及她的妈妈, Ye qiao, 1月18日在32Ave. 37St. N.W. 经过有标记的人行道时被一辆黑色宝马车撞倒.

Chang因伤势严重死亡, 她的妈妈正在医院接受治疗.

Calgary police have now laid charges against an 18-year-old Calgary woman following the death of a little girl at a crosswalk in the city's northwest.
Police Sgt. Doug McIlwraith said Tuesday that Angela Ta has been charged with passing a motor vehicle stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk, failing to yield at a crosswalk, and careless driving.
McIlwraith says the charges could mean a licence suspension, a $2,000 fine or six months in jail.
Six-year-old Jenna Chang and her mother, Ye Qiao, were struck Jan. 18 by a black BMW while using a marked crosswalk at 32 Avenue and 37 Street N.W.
Chang died of her injuries. Her mother is recovering in hospital.

这里故意杀人判的也比较轻啊，何况她算过失杀人。西方法律普遍量刑轻

SORRY，本来想引用，却不小心用了编辑键。

没有谁会去故意开车撞人的。但她违背了交通规则，却致人于死命。
