DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
( O. o$ f: {# F8 i   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
( H2 c8 y  ^# P7 r* V/ N% y0 n   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
. J2 w" ?8 k3 T   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
1 `9 o- Q' ~' s! s4 a3 t* y   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
( d% k/ ]  S$ C8 }4 L   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
$ [1 m, ^  G& a/ Oplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
/ N8 w- A2 ~1 g8 _; g• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
5 Q  Q& }( E: g1 Z' }• Excellent written and verbal skills
0 X, _1 N6 z7 a8 c• Ability to work in a team environment
9 D; }1 L9 l3 q( v7 E7 I7 L• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
! K; m7 \: D0 c) h• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
! X# W8 s* c, ~4 r   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
/ `4 P3 B9 }; R0 I/ d   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

' S% I4 E6 f* g$ O8 ?   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

* |# |! v  L; N• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
/ n: C  h/ _! E/ t• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
1 {; ], f2 j/ \• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
6 W% A! D" K; P  N5 F• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
; O! n( n* C* `4 S- X* {• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
/ S1 E- u# ^$ M: o# O2 x) V• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
