LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
8 Q: i& o+ y( aSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

& f" p6 S; e8 Q" n  U8 lRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
) _) y1 Q7 F& U8 x* N0 I3 {   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
, o& N0 P4 {: \! x5 U   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
$ D7 t% E# X0 B$ b' |( Q2 P: ^   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
  z" X$ D# X7 o) h6 i   o Linux based operating systems
! m' Q# ~% O& e% ~3 L   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

/ Y* k' O) e7 A# dSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
* U: D1 O6 B3 k; ^• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
9 k- u1 y" f5 p7 l   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
3 x" Z! `9 y( [' I   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
7 {8 T& z6 f1 ?4 M, {• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
6 H( b% S( k2 D& T• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
+ G' R" W" B; e  w• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

; t7 {2 N0 @0 ~• Have led medium to large sized projects
