DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
: z% w- @+ C2 Z. B• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
7 y" D* c6 M& l' x' {   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
9 E; i# R' v" }6 b+ C' z, m5 t   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
7 e: P( K+ y9 [: }- _1 b. @   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
/ d+ x2 Q2 Y) Z• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
9 q8 b9 w6 O1 p, `• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

) P1 d8 x8 _% ?9 q& M% c/ C" t• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

1 Y3 d( R! \1 V7 t2 W• Certification should include some or all of the following:
9 @1 ?- V/ I. M8 }) C+ A   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
. o( o" Y& |- \. @+ K1 ~   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
+ b! w8 j# M( I" y1 t8 b& s   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

( V6 j( L1 Q0 T: U$ }8 B" M6 i• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

& a0 b5 O/ d% Z• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
1 _9 [4 B' m" ~8 E" e- e( s6 o• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
5 e: {- z1 y% v8 h• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
