In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
, y- F" k! u7 E# kAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
" s0 n0 i" J: }7 R: M# }Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
# Z$ ~: _0 I# j2 W& Y' I/ j& `Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Be accountable for decision and actions
: N& q. j  c4 A7 j: p% `- WMitigate risk to the organization.
$ a& C7 j2 x' d8 Q5 g. c9 dEducation:
! |* G6 l; @4 V, x
; O) N- X( M0 X  }' ~A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
* m+ `/ z4 L& K$ n+ V$ e• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
) H4 q. H& [) J0 x- PExperience:

/ ?* u5 q  U% k% d' ]5 {Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
$ @8 |5 u+ Y* N9 u. IPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
& T( U8 c& c" C7 t! Z9 b/ w5 q4 dSenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
% t$ h) Z( ]1 {  x
Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
9 P9 q3 q" f# |9 x/ p/ sMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
