如果家里有小孩，可以申请每天25刀的政府补贴

The Ministry of Children's Services provides financial assistance to eligible lower-income families using:

Licensed group family child care

6 p  x3 E% Z; i6 b* A( K9 g9 ]Licensed out-of-school care centres

9 x9 ]1 B* g; bApproved early childhood development programs
Maximum subsidy rates vary by program type and the age of child attending child care.

You can apply for a subsidy if:

' Q+ u) l$ z* ^3 V6 ]You or your spouse/partner, or the child receiving care are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and live in Alberta.
You or your spouse/partner are an Alberta resident.
3 ?; |3 G+ Z/ y% T; u# A5 L4 R7 XYour children are 12 years of age or younger and are not yet attending Grade 7.
; M" U9 i+ Q) R; S, M/ o1 C' d3 MYou and your spouse/partner are currently working, attending school, looking for work or have special needs
OR
You or your spouse/partner stay-at-home and have your child(ren) enrolled in a licensed pre-school or approved early childhood development program.

低收入有一个数目。今天早晨听 cbc ，两个女士都有不错的工作，也可以领。我觉着我们对政府定义的低收入还把握不准。

不过如果年薪十几万以上的，肯定没有必要申请

查了一下： net income of less than $42,255 per year

a person earns wages of $1,000, and $300 in deductions are taken from his paycheck. His gross income is $1,000 and his net income is $700.

' S6 j  W* h6 D% W& ^8 J, J根据这个定义，应该不少人可以属于低收入。

42255/12 = 3518
# `" e- J& ?! M- K, Z3 }+ |如果夫妻存入银行的月工资少于这个数目，就属于低工资。
