亚省医生投票赞成提高费用的草案

盖瑞医生在周六的新闻发布会上说，我们希望这能够留住亚省医生，也希望能够吸引外省医生来到亚省从业，进而提高医疗水平。但是“任何财政协议都会提高医疗水平“的说法是一个过大的假设。

EDMONTON (CP) - A tentative deal that would see Alberta doctors receive their first fee increase in almost a year-and-a-half should help retain physicians in the booming province, but it won't necessarily improve patient care, says the president of the Alberta Medical Association.

9 @9 X6 V& o* N+ ?. q) T"It will keep physicians hopefully in this province. It will hopefully attract more physicians to this province and therefore has the potential to improve care," Dr. Gerry Kiefer said at a news conference Saturday. ' @8 x* K2 H* }* K

"But to say that any fiscal agreement is going to improve that care would be making a huge assumption."
