As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:* o; o: `1 t& p* o
# _, w7 }9 d6 k0 z- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- O, Z6 Y, Z- j7 ~' B- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 0 _" z$ `5 A- ~/ Y6 Q J
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- k) H% i8 {( ]+ G- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
% N$ P" P/ s) G" L$ @1 ]3 J# i- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
! _1 c b2 C9 S4 C4 H! O. ]- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience

$ |" b& r1 ?6 |2 d5 w N- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 U+ B9 ?" X0 V) y- p- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
" z# h9 d1 s7 M- ?; E7 z- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
8 m8 M9 h/ Q- A' K- ^- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.+ i8 |+ O+ x2 n$ s
