- t) D- h: c9 C0 `7 c- IAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:) l' g0 D9 V* @# b/ D8 G" h' H. W
* _/ C3 `4 H8 i& `3 X- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
( @, ~. k i% [5 t1 U4 ]- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. # i2 z$ D) |$ z5 E3 ^5 x- _
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
" G# f$ R# v' c. X, l+ Q- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
, m; k! B# u1 a) r7 Y+ b- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
b8 C" ~+ s" H1 Y0 s; C2 m1 F. y: h- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

1 L( f3 K/ G6 IExperience and Education Requirements. f" ` J! u8 q* C; ?* P
7 L3 v, u/ M9 n1 b) ^- Previous supervisory experience 2 q+ ]! n: {6 [- \- m
- Strong leadership skills & q- L+ A/ F5 W' e' k5 z0 @$ P
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ( ~8 t' [' Y0 g$ ?& |( W/ w- {
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills + \% Q Y+ k" u3 Q" Y/ G* N! r0 j; Y
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations . N) K8 t5 v0 e ^3 O) @7 A$ x
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.$ f5 i3 v, l, n* h1 v7 B C
