/ T, C7 y- c% c J. F0 o/ a- pAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

8 _, s0 T7 o, a2 }1 m T* A4 t- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- G; y* |( O9 |, Z- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
6 v/ _# \9 s) ?1 |$ j$ a- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 5 }! Y5 @0 {% F( p t. i
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
8 g, ~1 ]8 {% i& W2 a9 d/ c- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
" d0 n# \9 x$ v: N. J* j- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). + f$ s1 v& k$ ~$ z8 [
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements$ {0 W# k) P7 ]7 i0 U
3 g* j3 m) s. c/ \2 Q1 {- Previous supervisory experience 9 N# s3 b+ z$ `: |" q
- Strong leadership skills
& y# L, t( q' J; W2 E; n0 h- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
$ R7 ^' l+ c, Z, X- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills " P! A7 g- ? w# d! W" q2 q
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
8 u; y7 ~0 ~8 K, C+ B k- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
