As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
! f8 D" w2 Z3 i+ Y, [/ t! o4 B- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 4 l; y; e4 }7 ]* D* v
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
/ r7 B, b* m' N. Y4 `- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
; C1 [$ Q" S: g: O/ D- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. * N/ B( d& ^+ M8 p: k
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ) r9 W9 t2 ~5 F. s$ {6 F
- Managing shift expense budgets. + q1 a2 k( m. N6 c, ]

Experience and Education Requirements
% P Z! e2 ~' u
1 r/ L: z6 ^; x2 S- Previous supervisory experience
1 g8 G/ Z0 _3 }! u' b( B9 W, N- Strong leadership skills
3 X8 I, P# y* M6 H: O- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
' }" a% W6 R7 ^5 P( ^- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 2 M+ d( o, h2 i' N
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations - {& q; \- J. j
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
