PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.9 ` s8 I: q+ x
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
( s; A# X; A/ Z$ r, F! HRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
: {* E6 P" m9 q6 m" PCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.! Y: L! b( {% U- V* q0 i
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications) B4 r- g z9 g- W! z1 m
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.* J; c: @9 P' C& ~
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner., r+ ?7 C& q' j& _
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
( S: X& n9 _$ K- I6 ?% zCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
9 J7 h i$ G h9 {( ]- V' R/ o5 gProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution

Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.: V" V) e7 ?8 H) E
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
3 ^9 \# q& e3 i" CParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
: e6 C; t K5 n5 x$ I) W# UWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
3 k% R- c4 e( G. {) bLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure4 y6 T3 g. y2 u, S, n* Z/ z
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

) k) R! `: ^% ^5 E2 |% r vBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
7 [, \9 l3 b( O+ y1 \8 A$ p: MTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications. Y1 v1 t6 k$ E8 P6 u& e4 \$ q* ^
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)9 W- F+ ]7 N6 K7 ?& q3 s: |: A
Experience interpreting process control documents.

Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.5 J6 p5 n0 m! ~' i( L
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)
& v4 k( j; G$ F6 KElectrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
