, N5 `8 m/ y$ i9 o, l/ F* IThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

0 e, p; g& }7 s" B# \& Y: d* bThe procurement officer is responsible for:
$ J! N1 H) N7 d7 O" \- V-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
# Y& X1 F) `, y-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
+ Z9 l, k, v% x6 p9 l9 B-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
  F: U8 `* z' `! m9 U$ v-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
# u4 l6 z! U  B9 b5 E- ]- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
# I; Q$ Y+ h' I% X; k- Strong organization and time management skills
. v* s: u7 r/ P( `8 ]3 B- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
9 t' g4 `* J& H  x( W+ v; y- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
) U/ W4 x$ [, l- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
