Average house prices have hit half a million dollars in southwest Edmonton and almost $400,000 across the Capital region.

Edmonton-area prices averaged $398,476 for single-family homes and $325,339 for all housing forms.' q( B7 O/ R# D! A. K Z% Q
8 v8 k. y. s0 r2 ]2 S/ k5 NIn only the first three months of this year, average home prices have climbed 12.4 per cent, so Pratt has abandoned her earlier forecast of a 15 per cent increase for the full year.
