MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
2 r7 M, c2 F/ U& g! x4 T2 N$ ^$ D1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
8 l8 h$ f& Z- [0 J1 {" p+ k3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
" f8 N$ ~( C& t4. Calibration of Equipment
; h! U7 R  i9 ]5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
9 T* N! L. w  P1 R1 q' W2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
) X! {. ]+ e- }' P/ W3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
