CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

$ M' v4 p- V! M· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
8 N$ [# I  v! M. }
: V$ ]7 l8 f& R8 \# D· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

7 @: t6 T. o8 s· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

; ]; K  U( S# C. j· Secure loads safely

3 r8 K! ~0 L& H· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
. z5 P! i- n8 O" I- i" f
3 {6 |* u1 _' C· Valid Class 1 license

5 E2 }0 d: z+ }" T· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
) _* \% k% A, M5 }( Y& x
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

* R9 b* c8 _1 B4 l, D· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
