CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

3 L+ g8 v( J/ X0 a# E8 K· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
& y+ F' l/ Y- Q2 j$ F
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
  }" f+ K! [2 i# H& G
* r; i5 _; P5 \6 I+ ^7 B4 L- j: K· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

( W* L3 a8 \0 _* B6 J( \0 E· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
; m9 j; V  p; J. }/ V6 t5 |2 Z, t
) G' \" ?  C4 Q" m9 {! q* Q· Operate manual and automatic shifts

! g5 V' ^7 k  c& \7 p! S2 j· Minimum 3 years experience

0 T7 Z  O1 c( D( D/ s7 {3 _· Valid Class 1 license

5 y0 q0 W" q* j3 e  ^* r/ a# B· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

' C# \' f5 U7 Y( ?7 l( T. _· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
