CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

6 l( I" a9 H1 R% `" ?· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

3 U8 @6 u/ N5 {3 V. T& b& U5 K· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
4 H5 y- y1 w; L8 M+ n1 I9 q
! H) L6 f' U/ f$ P· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

2 b2 E! P5 e2 Z$ L3 j" {· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
) E! ]6 k6 |7 ^3 O
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

! n& W9 ~/ F! e& p· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
. C5 ?5 x* L  s$ U( k
· Minimum 3 years experience

/ {. _$ [; z5 d+ H( O· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

, b* o$ }/ K) h- z4 \$ K· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills
4 A- c- |5 A& b- V$ x$ ?
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
