The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.7 ^0 K: u4 ]& p1 [! g/ h

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
4 K5 z. S" E, H r. ?3 pInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
) o. K- s5 P V6 e+ SLoads and unloads non-ferrous material$ ^ j# x1 n" U
Must be able to work safely at all times% `7 |; d* {7 d( _/ r
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently; w+ u* M% \8 m! i0 d; @
Performs routine housekeeping., q0 g! F; J9 ?& |) f& l
Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization% B, q* E3 f/ F& Q/ ]
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
