: J9 m; [/ \+ u, U8 WDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
( |4 T9 N+ o) `7 Q/ `technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
0 s/ j4 x' m- w2 P) E# O% Ycompounds by chromatography.
; W7 T9 D; Z+ T! u* }' p
. |* g4 t  m3 |  C& D+ s: |; ?Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
9 B: n3 G# N! |, W  x6 X  k- uanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
0 |1 g) L7 [$ U) Mseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
& o8 G* q6 o) X; Q( w$ `5 |0 J  f7 ?* ?8 {hope to work in these areas.
