/ }% D# G5 E8 K5 tSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

) [) t( [" }, n# h8 U( d9 r7 ~4 I7 `Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
  Q8 W  j( ^1 {5 F/ m, ~' u8 |school year starts.

; J- X! v- W' |2 O9 u7 I  \; P. |Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 V8 H% x- W' \# Bvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
" ^# a5 z- t% u' fparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
% |; g5 y- M/ f6 ntheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
- \: h( a" a" d' Vtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
* P: P- V5 J. s4 Aoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
% C3 G9 J: ^6 ~# _3 b3 g* `functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

2 E; R' s! P" W2 H8 FQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
( e+ \7 K) k  zCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
; [9 m5 A1 j# g* Ka variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
7 k& ?* P% ^) h! }of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
, ~& w. Z$ f+ C  Y7 S* f2 ]: jskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
