Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
7 w8 z8 A, w. R3 \pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
8 i- k3 d/ W- {) A6 I2 J9 T1 d3 Detc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
  E, x) o$ q0 t7 Qparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
2 ]# B; A3 K" j( [their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
6 G9 v2 Z' C9 a8 K% t  F6 Avenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
0 {0 y8 G# g! f5 eoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
9 ~( i' D6 e( `, M' Vexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
' i- `; ~( t- o; @; T2 d6 Zfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
/ _; u6 C! J. g  ]. k7 Lpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
$ P% z6 E" a* K# oCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
) U6 g9 z3 e% K" O- Y1 Rfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
7 s7 }  {! O' a) Udemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
2 |( u' L' G* ^( C5 }( `of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
* @; q2 T) W9 `+ H' e, d! }experience coordinating group activities an asset.
