Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30/ _- R5 r# u |) [7 L8 ?- ?3 T

the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the8 i8 A/ X5 b+ q) r! S) i* T
school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
. W5 }' L+ R: C+ u0 r! H9 Y. I; ZCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
- u8 ]2 p0 {4 i7 z; r% wvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,6 {; N: M: H& I" P3 Y! e
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for7 m. j' D/ L/ _) `( }5 U
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and% d" ^$ r( B1 }) W
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during: U" G# E: i( Y* X9 `6 _
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
3 o3 t# A& |" r- i% Lassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking: x1 E: A, O4 p1 v- o
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
0 S% }6 R% f- P! R9 p. s; m/ e+ t* loutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
, U% t/ C9 c6 y% m0 Qexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night& u7 G# `! O: a& S/ q' E) U+ e _
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
7 j/ u8 z' e+ u! Q- |functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
p) X7 e" I. W' `' M8 fCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate! P" w0 H" r5 v7 a: K3 Q
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
& x+ A5 |# \' a- b1 Vdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake( ^& c+ Q# f) i! h0 X5 O1 _ G: O0 Y
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
% r8 [5 h: R. y$ N/ Q7 }& T3 ?+ g" I4 qof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management9 J/ t, i( X$ D* I. o
