Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
$ N- o1 ~2 n, c6 _, lschool year starts.

% m% g0 H" h* c  ^2 ^4 o- |Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
5 X* B. n7 y7 B$ i! g1 e8 i2 l) Tetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
' H3 e, ?8 F3 s0 O. |venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
0 Y+ Z" n2 i9 W4 ?! Foutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
6 z/ t- @! \( hexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
) f& \$ {! a4 h4 Z- A# dsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
% D/ }; A. l. o& v# x8 B: spresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

, g) e; W( a* B( U. bQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
0 |( }- q! |( k7 _* ~; G0 Q) d" Odemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
" T1 n- J  E# ~a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
0 x& ^) f+ E/ Pof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
( T+ z1 x0 ~1 s# y$ h" Qskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
