& U+ q' _: c/ P( `7 d4 Y5 D1 i) {11.5 hours a week - Hours from 2:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and  
Thursdays

. I, I( j3 X' Z* w! ^) B/ O% KJOB SUMMARY:  Responsible to and under the general supervision of the  
  c& M- x1 G: u5 R" A3 `( DBartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for  
1 L1 r1 a/ F) k) ~carrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of  
customer service and room cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage  
- P& ~! I% F  X+ Torders.

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a  
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in  
accordance with Students' Union policies.

* i% S. Q; m* z$ J6 C3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the  
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

0 g; x; u/ a3 D) M& [+ Y9 _4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,  
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal  
$ L# ]4 D( o! p, t2 P8 c- b5 M' v5 qand ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate  
action when necessary in accordance with established Server  
$ W! u0 a4 q$ s; ], tintervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health  
$ R! k* ~' f' B$ J, M+ kAuthority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

. j* q1 G2 Q; Z  f5 Y2 x2 \6 K0 ?7 N7) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based  
' r' ~  N7 l! D! boperation.

3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union  
" w2 J& [, ]/ t1 _policy.

0 G9 `! v* A# o4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge  
card transactions.

7 w, k$ Q2 }  W$ D9 Q5) Ability to deal with staff, students and the general public in a  
2 h+ {8 m( x, k2 w. pprofessional, friendly and diplomatic manner.

Wage: $7.00/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food
