11.5 hours a week - Hours from 2:45 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible to and under the general supervision of the  
: c* x5 m0 g; P) qBartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for  
0 @9 Y  v' c/ H+ `- i' W  Acarrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of  
, o# o& z% [2 I) k: N/ f0 Pcustomer service and room cleanliness.

- I$ G% D. [) H& n6 X0 x7 H# P3 h! dDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage  
: \5 J8 \1 i5 `, ]' Porders.

2 ?" E* y' G( A' q2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a  
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in  
. B. C" B2 ~- Z- Maccordance with Students' Union policies.
/ _  r) u" C  Z7 ]$ S8 e) G" W
3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the  
( n5 G$ @* \2 U0 S: f, O% `9 X& Y- Ltotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

: r' G9 }3 G# g4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,  
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal  
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate  
! Q0 G  D( N& l6 f" V& j( uaction when necessary in accordance with established Server  
4 Y' s2 ^2 W; g" V0 Q) {# ]intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health  
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

Manager.

5 y' T8 v5 ~% B# P5 `QUALIFICATIONS;
" T$ w5 d& o6 @2 _+ c7 R1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
$ [1 ]; |, C* W% k
. x' I: c$ B4 z' s$ R2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based  
! @- P/ E' e& G7 X$ G+ ooperation.

& T+ G4 x- o/ J- f) A3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union  
policy.
0 _; b$ z, q/ R
0 ?: q+ {: V* e5 W) e0 q* j% H0 p4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge  
card transactions.

5) Ability to deal with staff, students and the general public in a  
professional, friendly and diplomatic manner.
