Position:        China Technology Licensing Lead

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
& n7 Y: ]# n8 z; j2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

1 Q! X5 M) a. Z% NPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
5 F) i9 p- C, e- `2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
/ J7 t' z% P6 z* H5 ?3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
" L% w, C! F7 V& h0 ]+ ]* O2 W4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
4 p( x6 V. W6 `- t$ `% X5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
) t0 K7 ^3 ^: c$ w" L6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7.        Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
