DOORPERSON (RATT)

+ m3 R* P( P# M, t* l2 u" dJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
  c/ w0 j2 `& s(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
* X9 v; E# ~. p3 ypolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.
# \# ?) [& H  \) X/ t, a
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; @$ i- d" U" u# w
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
. Y' w0 e; }* u) g% rof garbage.

! ]4 F; L4 r5 k- K& O/ C0 S0 P4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
$ s3 L1 H3 D8 j4 O# ~4 |consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

! t3 r! ?5 k2 v) K1 A: |) \( G6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
+ P) F! Q& m9 F: QManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

. P8 @* C9 l$ X8 l; w5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
