JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
% R3 ^6 w$ C" `% ^* @6 kpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

; i* V! ]- F# y9 Z9 c! fDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- a  k3 Q3 A" O4 |6 _1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
% _( N. f  |. t$ y) L; W: r% Cand are University affiliated.

/ R1 S" G6 h) k' _. n2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
: y  f" z4 |+ D6 a% Z, i& w
& Q; h+ b7 o* c% P- Z3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
7 K1 W7 i  x: @9 _7 s6 s  Cconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

+ q- l- p" g0 r4 g" _* y6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& C; W7 c( J% UManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

7 h7 ^: @5 n  G9 {) o3 XQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' d2 |  a& _3 Rof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

/ t% n) t" L+ g8 p6 R7 X- F4 \3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

; t  w9 s* m0 l) X  p4) Must be physically capable.

3 L: ]6 Y! M' }  Z* X0 t7 H4 {5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
