DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
8 u4 F1 B! ~0 A4 ~- j& Z(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
' J( _# y) A/ C! u6 b7 ?- mand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
% U2 e( N: _# d- N1 u6 ]
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

! E) S; y% s8 z& M4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
! G9 l  X% V, x3 j% \; n; I6 g6 iarea when required.

  ~; c/ x% r; K8 z3 ~6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
$ k! f# A& s/ V( X1 u7 l$ I+ q; ?1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

) S2 `7 Q$ c' j" ^$ r3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
