DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
7 p& O/ w) y& K7 d# M. J: i(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! D! y7 g6 b. i% M; i4 }1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
& _" E# X7 z; F* }: P
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; E& P/ h, [$ |/ A
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

7 y3 g* x$ v, z/ R1 q2 b" l  Z0 d2 M4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

8 _$ b! ]+ ]+ s9 M1 K. k/ L5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
9 t0 H  M- e) fManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

4 V. f! y: o! I6 n% v6 k2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
6 `0 Y( M  ^# _; G: [calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
