JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
' n! j% i8 g2 S7 SOperations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
! N: f7 u" a: s1 Z6 k. T: m0 ?
1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

4 p" J/ M: j& ~" _# `# @  E2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
7 ], \1 p$ e' }& B; ^9 x) tCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.
) r: ]8 \7 [6 J# Y! d/ z3 J
4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
1 z- d& `/ |2 b3 xdeliveries.
+ U; P# y2 y0 E5 y+ y0 w
5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
0 F  g5 Q- o; K6 E
6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
/ I, j, l- _+ X) E# J8 t1 D1 e9 wManager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
4 A+ U6 @+ t4 o: A* o$ ?5 A) N3 G
1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
0 f% a4 D5 Q7 L
2) Previous experience with food inventories.

1 b& n+ P/ B! H4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
1 s+ V3 V5 _# c3 F1 u/ S. n! q/ P
5) Good public and staff relations.

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
