Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

* {* A6 @( P- f/ Q4 p' Q6 P1 x. Ptheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
) m# a) @/ F+ }6 b9 K# K$ D$ R
instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
4 N/ f. \' r4 X+ @' y$ M3 Wthe
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
1 B/ P# D5 z. _  @9 R) Gin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
. x7 b- a9 g9 u( _' j) d  @; U3 `Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
- m5 v3 x* h# f2 P$ Fsongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
