ECBEA was approached by the Asian Chinese Opera Association to announce

followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
' H% H6 M1 R. D
* K( T+ L, }$ x! dinstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
" z, d" \  ?% a4 S: G9 w* I( D8 }Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
( T% M& T( O/ w. R( j+ ?$ E2 K" QCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

6 n( b$ K8 }" m0 usongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
