Don't be misled by the average price

The average price increase doesn't mean real increase sometimes.

: v3 B5 d6 _% z, m( }# J/ K. rThe average house price in Calagary has gone up by $10,000 since June 1, 2007. But the average price per square foot has changed from $333 to $331, it means the real prices are dropping. I believe the same thing happens in Edmonton.

The average figure doesn't tell you the whole picture of the market. Do your own research to determine the market is going up or down.
