Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the6 ^4 }& _* A4 J& n# f
festival.
* Z5 y. T* Q# Q; j9 t- n0 T0 wBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and! l$ `* B2 [# T9 \; G
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
/ F9 v$ i1 |1 k! l2 Aprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
5 K- y; u( H* _: {/ r; CChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
! u! F8 W5 j" A# dartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.4 W" n/ _/ T: I1 V9 c8 p& K
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
$ B0 a4 V) b- D9 \visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
: J9 h1 U N! m8 Hrecyclables. v' Z E5 G& \) b; Y. R5 R
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
( _2 t/ w) k6 `; X6 E6 g, D) I ]8 j2 Ypart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
4 Z( M2 \9 T( J% }Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing" X( ~" |1 W% Y* t$ i$ _1 S
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late, r' p' J! d+ K) B2 R
hours are part of this crew’s duties.3 w& u9 j9 T# {+ T2 @; K3 K
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the% \9 S4 u( z; }. m8 j- X
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
! ~/ s' H1 s* P! ^% t" j" `programs to visitors to the festival.
6 W) F8 u1 N% mKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for2 w5 p" B" U& T5 D
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
6 v# b+ q& r. m) s/ d; n) @Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed# J2 N; r6 p! ^6 ^
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

8 ~. V- p+ d& g4 CSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
W5 b* z7 J2 D+ T- v" Poperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you* W0 ^" l; p2 I- _( H
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
: \4 j5 Z0 W" t/ rStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training4 [' B& ~, O) N9 l+ @6 b. Q
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
( r" }, ?9 L( w& Q& tTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be5 t' E! z# _. {% P
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as2 P% a+ K i; V% V: u2 \
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
9 s* ^9 B% Y2 Bstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
