management administrator to support our Data Hub application and the move to a data-centric information model.


Investment Administration Division provides comprehensive back-office support services for Alberta Investment
! ]; [4 a" l/ RManagement and various other government departments and agencies encompassing assets under management in excess
1 [! ~1 v; d% k% Kof $70billion. As the Data Hub Administrator, you will utilize your strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-
making skills to perform ongoing assessments and reviews to validate HUB data. Based on your assessments, you will
1 R/ j( L# j$ Y4 E$ ~. T  A& Wcoordinate the release and distribution of HUB data reports each day to various end users and clients. As our Data HUB
; \" Q% z9 O" H0 S) Q# J5 R! _& Hevolves through several phases, clients will expect you to keep pace with all new developments.

+ g) Y; N5 @4 G0 r  z# IData management activities are characterized by due diligence and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that HUB
referential data is complete, accurate and accessible on a timely basis. To expedite HUB database readiness, flexible hours
( E( m: d/ d  g/ x+ z) Nof work with an early start time will be a requirement of the position. A special work hour provision applies with a
daily start time in the range of 4:00am to 6:00 am, commencing after initial training is completed.

3 Y9 k$ x8 w( e. L3 rQualifications – Completion of a diploma in Computing Science supplemented by 4 years progressively responsible data
2 y+ k# Z. n- W  Kmanagement experience. Finance and/or investment knowledge is preferred. The ideal candidate will have formal
4 n2 y( K+ ?% ?* I. Meducation in Computing and Finance. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and some familiarity with SQL
would be considered assets. Equivalencies will be considered.
