JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
" m3 m0 J1 ]* N( O& VSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical N8 X3 a% `: D' m. C6 n
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects % e5 s0 o* e8 I3 B6 [" i
of Course Pack production.

* i. I( @5 `! l1 `+ V2 p, S) l$ QDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:' G% N" o* X: f. o3 p7 z
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
$ Y8 M" u" z: T6 u* O: Y9 ]$ @! bof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
$ O+ h, }3 U# u4 N9 d- U4 J( m1 X3 b
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including + ]! A3 }* T: N2 ^
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
% T1 i& G5 m( S6 {, T: E/ W9 W% k- r0 x# _4 p3 u# D
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of + \: [" } I* i6 z0 M- ?
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
+ i" z* @* x, }5 o" vkeeping appropriate and accurate records.# M, f, X% S$ m3 Y4 L. |+ z
1 e) t& e9 ~* Q* c5 {) l) r: W+ @4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment - u [+ X# v- H, k% |
failures to the Operations Manager.5 a# ~4 s! t; B7 m* m# h
% r# e1 H: i% E$ u$ ^9 O/ I+ w- U$ o5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
/ Z# e. x! N! {& m2 hand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.3 o- u, ]* S* I# v. _7 H
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ! ^/ E* \; w6 J% h, D. l9 q
skills.8 Y* d/ V3 v( x2 N
" _6 y! W( `; [: Y# Q0 r& k3 `3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
