JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
# a6 f+ H+ [3 X8 Q; r) u# OSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
r Y. r5 i& ^# p9 F, ?Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 5 O6 }3 z8 t3 n2 `
of Course Pack production.1 N+ [- A4 j. h* ]% D0 D, p L3 f- M
3 D& `6 O# W1 K8 f& }& o. T8 X
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:$ F' n3 D- B5 L+ R( ^9 D& Z. T# c
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning 0 t6 _) Z) {( q$ P
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.

2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 1 X4 c- g- f0 ~ J5 J3 y
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.$ Z' o" H) C, \' i2 M Y
$ Z( V* N ?0 T8 V3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
) Y0 z6 D9 `. p" Ncourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and ]) a' u" M4 A
keeping appropriate and accurate records.; k% b1 _9 S# ?& O, u/ r
( N2 j# h3 G5 Z( m0 I1 o N2 T
4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

* {/ g: \; z0 F; `8 N2 N5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ( l) h+ C8 u8 {; p
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:1 G! Z6 d4 S2 t# R [
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
% L, L2 y3 z9 N2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
: r: B4 Z) |1 U- x. Q5 ^skills.
# T0 j+ ^! Q; c! W9 O5 b* |! x0 |, Y( ]5 K, Q$ y
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.1 M& W% h) d6 ]& y% x5 \) r* Q) i

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
